Wear It Again Boutique opens in Albrightsville to help moms buy quality kids clothes for less

Wear It Again Boutique owners Tami Davenport of Blakeslee and Jennifer Bruno of Freeland asked themselves, "Why is anyone paying retail prices for kids clothes when they grow so fast?"

Davenport and Bruno, along with their close family members, cut a ribbon on Saturday, marking the opening of "Wear It Again Boutique." located in the Big Bear Center, Albrightsville on Route 903, near the intersection of Route 534.Parents of young children will love this store. Shopping at this store is a better way to outfit your young son or daughter in the latest kiddie fashions and this is a shopping experience that will have you smiling.Saving 50 to 75 percent off name brand new and nearly new clothing, toys and gear will leave more money in your wallet. You will find all the great brands you and your kids love, including Abercrombie, Limited Two, Gap, Justice, Old Navy, Carters, Oshkosh and Gymboree.Each item is inspected for quality. Your purchase will be like new with no stains, flaws or excessive wear."You can stop driving from store to store," said Davenport.This is an upscale, brand name, family friendly store. There is a play area and chairs to rest in and a large restroom with a changing table. It is not the typical used clothing store.All items are rigorously examined and washed or steamed before sale. Your items will look brand new.At Wear It Again Boutique, you will find newborn clothing to size 12, shoes and boots, coats, gloves and hats, swimming suits and an assortment of toys. You'll find Little Tikes, Fisher Price and Barbie, DVDs, board games, puzzles and toddler and educational toys. There is also baby furniture, including bassinets and toddler beds and all the gear you could ever need, including strollers, joggers, high chairs and baby swings."Save the hassle of sorting, pricing, displaying and bargaining over your gently used toys, kids' clothes and items at a yard sale or on line," said Bruno.Davenport said that she opted to start the business because of the economy. She and Bruno discussed opening the store on July 4 and on July 6 they found the perfect space and they signed the lease."We will also carry school uniforms," said Davenport. Davenport is the former Tami Lynn, daughter of John Lynn of Lehighton.Items can be dropped off between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Return with 24 and 48 hours and pick up your cash.
