State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a one vehicle crash about 6:08 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, along New Street in Norwegian Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Jeremiah A. Dries, 28, of Hamburg, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Suburban southbound and failed to negotiate a right curve. The vehicle left the road and struck a dirt ditch. After impact the vehicle overturned onto the driver's side coming to rest at the base of the ditch.Dries sustained lacerations to the right hand and mouth and was taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson St., Pottsville. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.Dries was cited for traveling on roadways laned for traffic.
