Not even a hurricane could stop country star Trace Adkins from wowing a full house at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe on Sunday night.

The ruggedly-handsome cowboy, whose deep baritone voice echoed in every nook and cranny of the concert hall, began at 9:15 p.m. with a fan favorite "Whoop a Man's Ass," and transitioning seamlessly into the chorus of Adkins and Blake Shelton's "Hillbilly Bone."Fans were on their feet for over an hour as Adkins barreled out hit after hit, including "Marry for Money," "Hot Mama," "Ladies Love Country Boys," "Songs About Me," "This Ain't No Love Song" and "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk."During the performance, the 6-foot-6-inch Adkins took his fans for a tour around his albums and back again, and even shared a few from his newest album "Proud To Be Here," including "Million Dollar View" and "Just Fishin'" which talks about a fishing trip with his young daughter.At one point, the star talked about the videos that he made throughout the years and how some of his songs related to his life.Adkins succeeded at keeping the crowd entertained and "swinging" along to every song throughout the 75-minute concert.His performance was at the right place at the right time the entire evening, never missing a beat in music or rhythm and slowing the pace down for a ballad or two at just the right points. His band also helped to make the concert a huge success. They complimented the country singer's not-so-country style and brought the energy up to the next level.Opening for Adkins was newcomer Kip Moore, whose voice, paired with his musical talent, was a pleasant surprise that complimented the evening perfectly.Moore was accompanied by only his guitar and a two-man guitar band, which made for an interesting sound.He drew the crowd in with songs about pickup trucks, motorcycles, and love, while joking with the crowd and providing glimpses into the life of the up-and-coming country star.Moore's first single, released on March 15, was "Mary Was The Marrying Kind."
