Four charged for theft incidents

Four persons have been charged, including two juveniles, in connection with theft of vehicle incidents in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said the four were arrested on Monday, July 25, in connection with theft from vehicle incidents that were reported on July 15. The theft incidents were reported in the Pocono Farms development in Coolbaugh Township.Several residents reported their vehicles were entered and various items removed.On July 21 police received information that a person was selling stolen property at the PenMart along SR196. Police identified that person as Jesus Nadal-Suarez, 20, of Tobyhanna. Suarez was attempting to sell an item that had been stolen during the July 15 incidents, police said. Suarez was in the company of a 17-year-old male from Tobyhanna. Both were taken into custody on charged of receiving stolen property.During the course of the investigation police said they learned that Cristian Nadal, 18, a 16-year-old juvenile, the 17-year-old found with Suarez and a third yet unknown juvenile, were involved in the July 15 vehicle entries.Police arrested Nadal and charged him with corruption of minors, theft from a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property and criminal conspiracy. Suarez was also charged with criminal conspiracy.The two juveniles were charged with theft related counts which will be handled through the county juvenile probation office, police added.
