Jose Enrique Paulino Jr., 35, of 139 Second St., Coaldale, theft of scrap metal, placed on probation six months, and ordered to pay $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account (CJEA), perform 20 hours community service and make restitution of $28 to victim. Paulino was cited by Trooper Arthur Wink.Alexus A. Rupert, Mahanoy City, threats and improper influence in official matters, received credit for serving 81 days in the county prison and was released on parole for 23 months, pay $50 to CJEA, perform 20 hours of community service.On charges of terroristic threats against Tabitha Evans, Mahanoy City; simple assault and resisting arrest received concurrent 12 months probation sentences on each charge plus an additional 60 hours of community service. On a charge of possession of a controlled substance received a concurrent sentence plus 20 hours community service. Quigley was cited by Pottsville Patrolman Paul Olson.Dale Eugene Nolen, 24, Pottsville, possession of a small amount of marijuana, 30 days probation, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA, and perform 10 hours community service. On a charge of public drunkenness was fined $300 plus costs. Nolen was cited by Pottsville Patrolman Paul Olson.Hope Ann McManus, 23, Shenandoah, possession of drug paraphernalia, 12 months probation, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA, $150 fine, perform 20 hours community service and make restitution of $113 to Bethlehem Regional Lab. McManus was cited by Schuylkill County Drug Task Force to whom she has to make restitution of $30.Nathaniel Shoup, 18, Shenandoah, delivery of a controlled substance, given credit for serving 20 days in the county prison and released on parole for 23 months, fined $150, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA, perform 20 hours community service and make restitution of $113 to Bethlehem Regional Lab and $40 to Shenandoah Police Force Drug Task Force.Jeremiah George Spirko, 23, Mahanoy City, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, 12 months probation, $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA, $113 to Bethlehem Regional Lab and perform 20 hours community service. Spirko was cited by Mahanoy City Officer Jonathan McHugh.John Joseph Luback Sr., 44, Minersville, driving under the influence (DUI), sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months in the county prison beginning Wednesday, Aug. 31 at 9 a.m., fined $1,000, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to Catastrophe fund, $50 to CJEA, complete safety school, perform 20 hours of community service and license suspended 12 months. On a summary charge of driving while license was suspended was fined $200 plus $50 costs. Luback was cited by Minersville Patrolman Jason A. Klouser.Tina Marie Hiester, 31, Pottsville, theft by deception, placed on probation two years, pay $50 to CJEA, perform 80 hours of community service and make restitution of $4,182 to Pottsville Housing Authority. She received concurrent sentences on charges of criminal conspiracy, tampering with public records and giving unsworn falsifications to the authority to obtain living quarters. Yourey.Ronald Zweizig, 53, Pottsville, retail theft from Walmart Store, Saint Clair, placed on probation 12 months, pay $50 to CJEA, perform 20 hours of community service and shall not visit the store during his probation. Wilson III, 20, Philadelphia, defiant trespass on grounds of Schuylkill Campus, Penn State University, North Manheim Township, placed on probation 12 months, pay $50 to CJEA, perform 20 hours community service and shall no contact with property on the campus grounds while on probation. Wilson was cited by Officer Matthew Dunn, campus police.Each defendant must also pay court costs and a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation or parole.
