A theft incident at a Carbon County lake is being probed.

State police at Lehighton said the 2004 Ford Mustang of Melissa Miller, of the 100 block of Canal St., in Landingville, Schuylkill County, was entered while parked in a lot at Beltzville Lake, near the interesection fo Deer Lane and Pohopoco Drive, in Towamensing Township. The unlocked car was entered sometime between 5:30 and 7 p.m. on Friday, July 15.Taken from the vehicle was a wheel lock, a purse containing miscellaneous items and a cellular phone.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (610) 377-4270.
