Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Sensinger of Lehighton celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently. The couple was married on June 24, 1961, at Episcopal Church, Lehighton, by the Rev. Wyatt.

Mrs. Sensinger is the former Anneliese Leyrer, daughter of the late Wilhelm and Babette Leyrer of Rothenburg, Germany.Mr. Sensinger is the son of the late Walker and Nomia Sensinger of Lehighton.They have three children, Timothy Sensinger of Palmerton; and Darvin and Shari Sensinger, both of Nesquehoning; as well as three grandchildren, Alex, Tatum, and Cameron Sensinger.A family picnic in their honor will be hosted at the home of the couple's niece, Susan, and her husband Mark Brown.
