Ira and Yvonne Snyder, of Lehighton will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on June 23, 2011.

Ira is the son of the late Eva and Willoughby Snyder, of Packerton. Yvonne is the daughter of the late Dorothy and Fred Leikel, of Lehighton.Both Ira and Yvonne graduated together from Lehighton High School in 1949.Mr. Snyder worked for the Fisher Insurance Agency, Lehighton, and Mrs. Snyder worked for the Terrace Restaurant, Walnutport.The couple has two children: Fred and his wife Georgette, of Whitehall and Ann and her husband, David Wenger, of Bethlehem.They have six grandhildren: Natalie and husband Theo Aranki; Tanya and husband Justin Gamez; Jihan and husband Justin Solomon; Jessica Snyder, a student at Penn State; and Matthew and Abigail Wenger.They have five great-grandchildren: Austin and Greyson Gamez, Arianna and Mirae Aranki and Troy Soloman.
