Marian High School is going to be constructed on an excellent 42 acre tract in the Hometown area, the Most Reverned Joseph McShea, D.D., Bishop of Allentown, told a cheering gathering of 2,000 persons during the first outdoor commencement exercise staged by the parochial high school of the Panther Valley area in Lansford High School Stadium. The applause was loud and sustained as Bishop McShea made his long-awaited announcement. "I knew that would please you," the bishop said. "It represents the best central location for all concerned."
