Panther Valley holds baccalaureate services

Baccalaureate services took place at Panther Valley High School on Sunday, June 5.

Rev. Dr. Marjorie Keiter, pastor of St. John's Church in Lansford, gave the homily. "Look to God when you need strength and courage," said Pastor Keiter. She continued to tell the graduating class, "Keep your head on straight, seek to be good and do good."Clergy participating were Rev. James Burdess, Roman Catholic Community of Summit Hill; Rev. John Keiter, Trinity Evangelical Church of Lansford; and Rev. Fred Rogers, Hope of Christ Presbyterian Church of Panther Valley.Seniors who took part in the program were Brittany Erbe, Brandon Evans, Jason Gates, Austin Gladd, John Heckman, John Owens, Jessica Reis, Matthew Tucker, and Ashtin Walck.Panther Valley High School principal, Joseph Gunnels gave closing remarks. The piano accompaniment was played by Audrey Christ.
