Erin Rupell, Lehighton was named to the dean's list at Emira College, Elmira, N.Y. for the fall 2010 and winter 2011 trimesters with a 3.69 GPA

She will graduate in June with a biology/pre-dentistry degree.Rupell is a member of the Tri-Beta Biology Honor Society and serves as a resident advisor at the college.She was an active member of the Soaring Eagles field hockey and softball teams.Rupell is the daughter of John and Rhonda Rupell, Lehighton. She is the granddaughter of Melvin and Maryann Muffley, Lehighton and John and Patricia Rupell, Palmerton.She is a 2007 graduate of Lehighton Area High School.
