ALLENTOWN - When you give up six runs with two outs and five of them come with two outs and two strikes on the batter, you better have some offense to back it up.

That wasn't the case for the Lehigh Valley IronPigs on Tuesday night when they dropped a 7-2 decision to the Pawtucket Red Sox at Coca-Cola Park.All seven runs scored by Pawtucket were earned, four coming off Pigs' starter Eddie Bon ine, two off reliever Michael Schwimer and another off of Jason Grilli."We just couldn't put them away and finish the inning," IronPigs manager Ryne Sandberg, who was honored with his own Bobblehead night with 8,494 fans in attendance.Sandberg was referring to the long seventh frame when the PawSox sent seven guys to the late and added a couple of insurance runs.The PawSox pitchers, including starter Andrew Miller and reliever Scott Atchison, held the IronPigs to just two hits (a single and double) by Kevin Frandsen.Frandsen has now hit in 11 of his last 13 games to be one of the hottest batters on the IronPigs roster.With the wind blowing out to left-center, Pawtucket had six extra base hits (four doubles and a solo home run by Josh Reddick) to help its cause.""Going into today's game if you had said we'd have two hits and two runs on the night, with it being 80 degrees and the wind blowing out, I would have disagreed," said Sandberg. "Those situations seem to be pretty good situations for hitting if you ask me."With the loss, the Pigs have now lost two in a row and four straight at home, dipping them to 9-10 overall and just 3-7 at home.The Pigs were still trying to get over the "controversial ending" on Monday at Buffalo. The two teams played the entire game in a moderate drizzle and by the seventh inning, the infield was accumulating water, but the grounds crew didn't do anything to help dry it up. Trailing 5-0 in the top of the ninth, Lehigh Valley rallied for three runs and had the bases loaded with one out and Ronnie Belliard stepping up to the plate. When the Bisons made a call to the bullpen, the umpires decided to have the tarp brought out. After a one hour and 42 minute rain delay, the game was finally called and the Bisons were given the win.Tonight, former Philadelphia Phillies and IronPigs pitcher Brandon Duckworth takes the mount for the PawSox with a 2-0 record and 0.48 ERA against Brian Bass (0-1, 5.14 ERA).
