In the Palmerton sports briefs section that ran in Wednesday's edition, it was incorrectly stated that school board Director Stuart Henritzy voted in favor of the extracurricular positions, and that Director Clarence Myers was against the positions.

It should have said that Henritzy was opposed to the hirings, while Myers was in favor of the hirings. The TIMES NEWS apologizes for the error.
