Mr. and Mrs. Joseph J. Pavlik of Nesquehoning celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 8. They were married by the late Monsignor A.J. Angelini of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in New Columbus.

Mrs. Pavlik is the former Theresa A. Kuzo, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Kuzo of New Columbus.Mr. Pavlik is the son of the late Joseph A. and Anna Pavlik of Lansford.The couple has four children: Cyndi, wife of Mark Zimmerman of Lansford; Terry, wife of Keith Miller of New Columbus; MaryAnn, wife of Ted David of Ashfield; and Joseph, husband of the former Lynn Arner of New Columbus.They are also the proud grandparents of seven grandchildren: Tiffany Miller, a student at Temple University in Philadelphia; Keith Miller, a student at LCCC; Taylor and Lucas David of Ashfield; Wyatt Zimmerman of Lansford; and Derek and Gavin Pavlik of New Columbus.A surprise dinner, given by their children, was held at Kelly's Restaurant in Lansford, with many friends and family attending the occasion.
