Anthony and Anita (Pelosi) Harry of Palmerton celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 8.

They are the parents of Diana Janny, wife of Michael Janny, Nazareth; Steven and his wife, Holly of Whitehall; and Anthony and his wife, Josann of Palmerton; and the grandparents of Amanda and Josh Sutter and Jarred and Rachel Harry.Mr. Harry is retired from the garment industry, where he worked as a cutter/spreader for 40 years. He is an ardent gardener and enjoys reading and watching anything to do with World War II.Mrs. Harry is retired from the Palmerton Borough office where she was a bookkeeper for 24 years. She enjoys doing crafts and is an active volunteer in the community.A Mass in their honor was held on Sunday, April 10, at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Palmerton, where they are both active members.A dinner in their honor was given by their children.
