Heritage Hill Senior Community will host its 10th annual Senior Health Fair at the Laurel Mall in Hazleton on April 13, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

This is an opportunity to receive free health screenings and important information from local services. There will also be prizes and giveaways.Fasting for the blood sugar and cholesterol screenings is recommended but not required.There will be a Tai Chi and Qi Gong demonstration at 10:30 a.m., compliments of the Wellness Center.Stop by the Heritage Hill display in the Boscov wing when arriving at the mall for a list of services.Those participating will include: the Attorney General's Health Care Section; Alzheimer's Association; Bafile Family Chiropractic (who will provide Myovision Screening); Degenhart Chiropractic Health Center (spinal screenings and chair massages); Evanko Respiratory Inc. (oxygen level testing); and GHHA and Health & Wellness Center (osteoporosis screening-cholesterol screening and more).Also, Hospice St. John; Lupus Foundation; Maylath's Valley Health Systems (blood pressure and blood sugar testing); Shellhammer Hearing Aide Services (video otoscope); Social Security Administration; Luzerne County Veterans Affairs); and more.
