A Palmerton man charged with exposing himself is scheduled to appear in court.

Anthony Marlow, 54, of 88 Hillside Avenue, was scheduled this morning to go before District Judge Bruce Appleton of Palmerton on charges of indecent exposure and indecent assault.According to an affidavit of probable cause filed by Palmerton Police patrolman Trevor Flexer:On Nov. 19 at 3:07 p.m., Flexer was dispatched by the Carbon Communications Center to call in for a call not to be given over the air, according to the affidavit.Upon calling the center they stated that the female at 80 Hillside Avenue Apartment 1 had reported that she was almost raped, the affidavit says. The center advised Flexer that Marlow had left.Upon arrival Flexer said he was met by the woman, who told him her daughter was in the apartment. Upon entering Flexer was directed to the bedroom where he was met by the woman's daughter.The daughter stated that she called a neighbor "Tony" (Anthony Marlow) to see if he could fix her door. The daughter stated that Marlow came to her apartment and fixed the door.Once Marlow was finished the daughter said he exposed himself and asked her to touch him.The daughter stated that she told Marlow that he needed to leave and that she had surgery two weeks ago on her stomach. The daughter said that once she told Marlow to leave he pushed her in the stomach and then left the apartment.During a formal interview with the daughter on Nov. 22, she stated that she only knows Marlow by his first name of Tony and that he lives directly across the street from her.The daughter said that she had gone over to Tony's house and spoke with his wife and asked her if Tony could fix her door and his wife told her that he would be over after he got home from work.The daughter said that Tony arrived at her house between 5:30-6 p.m. on Nov. 19. She described Tony as an older man, pretty tall, with gray hair that was wearing a red fleece type jacket that zipped up.The daughter said that when Tony entered her apartment she was in her bedroom resting from a recent surgery and was wearing pajamas and a shirt.While Tony was fixing the door he asked her at least three or four times "Are you ready for me". The daughter responded by telling Tony "I'm not like that".Once Tony was done fixing the door he entered the daughter's room and he exposed himself and asked her "Would you like to touch it".The daughter kept telling Tony no and he then attempted to grab her hand and she kept pulling away from him and attempting to move away from him.The daughter advised that Tony then touched her between her belly button and her private area with his hand and she told him "Ow, you hurt me" when he touched her in the area where she had surgery.The daughter said that Tony exposed himself the entire time and that Tony then told her that he was sorry and that sometimes he gets horny and then left the apartment.Marlow was interviewed on Nov. 19 at 6:21 p.m. He was provided his Miranda Rights to which he waived.Marlow denied all the accusations the daughter made against him and offered to take a polygraph for which a date and time was set for him to do so.When Flexer advised Marlow of the date and time of the polygraph he stated he did not want to take the polygraph anymore.
