Two facing burglary counts

Two Monroe County teens are facing burglary counts.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said on Friday, Sept. 23, about 1:30 p.m., they responded to 7139 Robinwood Drive, in Tobyhanna, Coolbaugh Township, for a burglary in progress. Upon arrival officers were told by the homeowner that he walked in on a burglary at his residence and recognized one of the suspects from a prior contact. He provided police with information which led officers to the home of Calvin Devine, 18, of Tobyhanna, which is located in the same neighborhood.The victim reported in excess of $1,000 worth of items stolen from his home.Devine and a 17-year-old male, also from Tobyhanna, were arrested and charged with burglary and related offenses. Police obtained a search warrant for Devine's residence and recovered stolen property from the initial burglary and also from other burglaries that occurred in the area.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call police at (570)-895-2400.
