A traffic stop on Pine Creek Drive in Rush Township on Feb. 23 resulted in charges being filed against a Coaldale man.

Walter Deets, 44, was stopped at 9:48 p.m. and officers discovered he had altered the registration plate on the vehicle, which had expired in 2005.He was charged with altering/counterfeiting/forging documents and plates, as well as driving without a valid license and driving without insurance.
