Amanda Frey weds Kristopher Kromer

Amanda Frey, daughter of Robert and Lisa Frey of Kunkletown, became the bride of Kristopher Kromer of Walnutport, on Aug. 6, 2011, in Jerusalem United Church of Christ, Palmerton. The Rev. Sharon Temple officiated the double ring ceremony. Ellen Erb was the organist.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Jennifer Lesher of Palmerton as the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jenna Smith of Palmerton; Stephanie Kresge of Kutztown; Jessica McKoy of Catonsville, Md.; Karen Kuhl of Macungie; and Lisa Larson of White Plains, N.Y. Hannah Wargo of Allentown was the flower girl.Mike Kromer of Allentown served as the best man. Groomsmen were Scott Kromer of Lehighton; Steve Zellers of Whitehall; William Rutt of Lawton, Okla.; Alex Frey of Kunkletown; and Nick Frey of Kunkletown. Jaycub and Aiden Kromer of Lehighton were the ring bearers.Following the ceremony, the couple welcomed family and friends to a reception at the East Penn Sporting Club in Lehighton. They honeymooned in Jamaica.Pre-nuptial parties were hosted for the couple, including a bridal shower at Country Inn and Suites in Lehighton; and a rehearsal dinner at the bride's parents' home.The new Mrs. Kromer is a 2003 graduate of Palmerton Area High School; and a 2007 graduate of Kutztown University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is employed as a substitute teacher in the Palmerton and Northern Lehigh school districts.Mr. Kromer is the son of Ron and Sherry Kromer of Allentown, and Kathie and Mike Hein of Lehighton. He is a 1996 graduate of Northern Lehigh High School, and is currently employed by Kraft Foods in Allentown.The couple resides in Walnutport.
