State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a burglary and attempted theft incident in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said unknown criminals arrived at the West Brunswick Township building, located along Municipal Rd., and pulled up to the gas pump area. They then entered the rear equipment shed by breaking open a door. They then attempted to break a hasp loop off an electrical panel box to turn on the gas pumps.Troopers said they were unable to activate the gas pumps and fled the scene.The incident occurred sometime between 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, and 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
