Palmerton Camera Club holds March meeting

A new phrase has been coined - "cell phonography".

It means taking photographs with a cell phone. If your first reaction to that is, "I don't make phone calls on my camera; why should I take pictures with my phone?" come to the March meeting of the Palmerton Camera Club on March 24 at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 5th and Lafayette, Palmerton. You can find out all you need to get started.Cell phone images are notoriously blurry and dull. But just Google "cell phone photography" and you will find beautiful images worthy of being called art.Guess what? There's an app for that.Sue Page will tell us all about this fascinating new field of photography. The possibilities are vast ranging from HDR images to panoramic stitching, black and white or color. The pictures can be downloaded to the computer for processing or processed right in the phone.
