State police at Lehighton said five juveniles, ages 11 to 15, are facing multiple charges including burglary for incidents that occurred on Sunday, May 15, along Leprechaun Lane and White Oak Drive, in Kresgeville, Polk Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said the five entered a garage at 1 Leprechaun Lane by forcing open a boarded up window. Once inside they sprayed fire extinguishers throughout the garage. They then proceeded to remove two hatchets and three cans of spray paint from the garage. One of the suspects then spray-painted a tractor in the garage and went outside and sprayed the foundation.

The suspects then crawled onto the roof of the residence and attempted to access the home via the skylight. They damaged the skylight with the hatchets, troopers said.

They then went to 12 White Oak Drive and damaged a deck post and several trees with the hatchets.

Charges of burglary, theft, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief and criminal trespass are pending against the five, troopers added.
