Sewer bills owed

The Borough of Bowmanstown, 490 Ore St., Box 127, Bowmanstown, has filed municipal liens against owners of properties that are delinquent in sewer bills owed the municipality. The liens are filed against:

Donna L. Wimble and Timothy Brown of Belton, S.C., for a property at 626 Franklin St., The claim is for $227 in unpaid sewer fees, plus $150 in attorney's fees.


Consumer Solutions REO, LLC, Lewisville, Tex., has filed a mortgage florclosure complaint against Joseph Andrasi and Tammy D. Snyder, 377 Kipling Lane, Albrightsville, over a property at that address. Sought is $112,116.60 in principal, interest and costs, plus attorney's fees.

The Bank of New York Mellon, Fort Mill, S.C., has filed a mortgage foreclosure complaint against Nicholas Butrie, 713 Center St., Jim Thorpe, over a property at that address. Sought is $71,528.07 in principal, interest and costs, plus attorney's fees.

Appeals suspension

Donald J. Hill, Car Corner Service Center, rear 32 Market St., Tresckow, is appealing the suspension of its official inspection station certification by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Transportation.

Hill claims in a letter dated Dec. 1, 2010, the agency suspended the certification for a six-month period, to be effective Jan. 6, 2011, and until a bad check in the amount of $100 and a $30 penalty is paid the state.

In the appeal, the appellant claims he was unaware that a check for insufficient funds dated Sept. 9, 2009, existed, and that in May, 2010, he contacted officials in Harrisburg and paid all past due arrearages. Hill says in the petition that he also sent a check by certified mail on Dec. 30 in the amount of $130.

Unpaid dues, charges

The Bear Creek Lakes Civic Association, 57 Pool Drive, Jim Thorpe, has filed a lien against Teresa Donahue, 27 Mountain View Drive, Jim Thorpe, seeking unpaid dues and assessments she owes. The lien is in the amount of $2,362.50.

Municipal liens

Penn Forest Township has filed municipal liens against owners of properties in the township that owe the township for unpaid garbage bills. Each of the liens lists chares of $125 for 2010, plus $43.90 in filing fees. The defendants are:

Kaisha Williams, P.O. Box 1099, Albrightsville; Winthrop A. and Gloria Holder, Uniondale, N.Y.; Lisa Krasowski, Williamstown, N.J.; Jonny Tietjen, 19 Apache Way, Jim Thorpe; Anthony and Karla M. Wood, 197 Brittany Drive, Albrightsville; Nancy J. Zsilavecz, Bethlehem; Allison Straker and Anthony Daley, P.O. Box 1343, Albrightsville; Leonard C. Jr. and Pamela Bartkus, Brooklyn, N.Y.; Esther Friedlander, 103 Wild Creek Drive, Jim Thorpe; Irene Uzar and Agnieszka Uzar, 303 Brittany Court, Albrightsville; and Caprice Thornton, 42 Gower Road, Albrightsville.

Credit default

Dell Financial Services, LLC, Malvern, Pa.,. has filed a judgment entered in its favor by District Justice Edward Lewis against Phillip Otto, 430 S. Third St., Lehighton. The judgment is in the amount of $2,259.46 and is based on the assertion that the defendant is in default of a credit account issued him by the plaintiff.

Divorce complaint

Brandy M. Botek, 718 Iron St., Lehighton, filed for divorce from Christopher F. Botek, same address. They were married May 9, 1998.
