Roger Metzger, state constable, clarified a comment he made at the Weissport Council in regard to Constable James Osborne that was discussed at the Weissport Council meeting on Tuesday.

"Although the constable is separate from the council, I want emphasis that the constable has authority to enforce the ordinances of the borough and the criminal code of Pennsylvania in the borough. He will continue to enforce the law in the borough and without compensation and acknowledgment from the borough."
