Quit complaining

Dear Editor:

This is in response to ex-reader Kris Moyer's letter that was published in 11-26-11 newspaper. Let me just say I am grateful he is an ex-reader since he obviously doesn't appreciate a lot of things in life.First and foremost. Reason 1 is a total contradiction since he says that all Robert (Ski) Sieputowski does is complain. Correct me if I am wrong but that is what you're doing Kris.Reason 2 shows how heartless he is toward children whose families struggle and cannot afford to get children presents, or maybe some tragedy happened in their lives at a time in life. Christmas is a time of giving and I am grateful for such work put into Toys for Tots.Last but not least his comment about Andrew Leibenguth was totally wrong. I know Andrew for about 20 years and can say that he has done so much for my town of Tamaqua with his volunteer work and is an excellent reporter/photographer for the TIMES NEWS. His job is very much appreciated. Considering he is a veteran who fought for his country is a very big accomplishment for everyone. So in closing, Kris, save your breath as you said for people to get a life when I truly feel you should take heed to your own advice "if you are so perfect then you should run for president." I encourage all to not be discouraged by Mr. Moyer's ridiculous reasoning on when not to read the local paper and not contribute to good charities as well as appreciate Mr. Leibenguth's efforts as he's doing his job. To sum it up, why don't you get a life Mr. Moyer and quit complaining.Grateful reader,R.J. Nelson, Tamaqua
