Enter guilty pleas

Joshua Alan Wagner, 20, Fern Glen, who pleaded guilty to conspiring with another party to rob the Turkey Hill Market in Port Carbon on April 9, 2009, was sentenced by Judge Miller to serve 11 1/2 to 23 months in the county prison with credit for serving 185 days. He also must make restitution of $221.04 to Turkey Hill Market, jointly or on his own. Wagner was given an additional sentence of five years probation to begin when his first sentence expires on a charge of criminal conspiracy to burglarize the Family Dollar Store in Pottsville on April 6, 2009, and make restituiton of $213 to the store jointly or on his own.Asim Jamar Williams-Silvera, 30, Minersville, pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct and was given credit for time served in the county prison since May 20 and released on parole for 12 months, pay $100 to Substance Abuse Education (SAE) fund, $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Accout (CJEA) and restitution of $113 to Bethlehem Regional Lab. On the charge of possession of a small amount of marijuana was given a probation sentence to run concurrent.Tahisha Shade Hook, 24, Pottsville, pleaded guilty to retail theft and was sentenced by Judge Miller to serve 18 months on probation after receiving credit for serving 22 days in the county prisonBrian Anthony Cyr, 22, Shenandoah, pleaded guilty to delivery of a controlled substance and was sentenced by Judge Miller to serve one to two years in a state correctional institution, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA and make restitution of $113 to Bethlehem Regional Lab.Raymond Vesay, 53, Pottsville, pleaded guilty to a charge of DUI and was sentenced by Judge Jacqueline Russell to serve three to six months in the county prison, pay a fine of $1,000, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA, $60 to Schuylkill Medical Center, a $50 monthly supervision fee, perform 20 hours community service. On a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia received a concurrent sentence. Vesay was cited by Patrolman Warren Firing, Schuylkill Haven police, on Nov. 27, 2008, but he had to be brought into court on a bench warrant.
