Marshall's Meat Market, 336 Iron St., Lehighton, officially held its grand reopening on Saturday.Thomas Tabor is the store manager, while Kyle Elsasser, does the butchering and Jarrid Marshall, son of the original Marshall owners, is an employee.The three men work well together to make your visit to Marshall's Meat Market a treat. Their great rapport at the deli counter is pleasing and brought plenty of repeat customers to the store since the store opened on Sept. 6.They not only remember your name from visit to visit, but will remember just how you like your item sliced and packaged.At Marshall's Meat Market, customers will find all the fresh meats and deli items they need to make meals tasty and nutritious, along with a wonderful selection of lunch time items, such as fresh made sandwiches and hot soups. There is an express line for lunch customers, with no wait.They also offer deli specials and a sandwich and soup specials on the weekends, plus they carry a variety of staple items and snack items that will make your errand list lighter. "We put some tables and chairs and a television inside the store so people can take a brief rest and enjoy their sandwich and soup, or they can wait while their order is being completed.""We will make the things the customers like," said Tabor. "We have the old recipes and we are doing things the old way. We have the cucumber salad, pierogie casserole, fresh macaroni and potato salads and homemade barbecue." They also offer meat trays, vegetable and cheese trays and nibble trays. Anyone who orders at least $20 for lunch can take advantage of free delivery within five miles.Tabor is often seen up to his elbows making the homemade potato and bread filling that is so good, made just the way everyone remembers it at Marshall's."We will take the work out of your holidays," said Tabor. "Stop by for your holiday ham or turkey and all the fixings."Marshalls accepts WIC access card, plus accepts Visa, Master Card and Discover credit cards. Marshalls will soon have a Pennsylvania Lottery station. They will also do deer processing.They also have plans to allow customers to order deli and lunch items on a Marshall's website, which is in the works."We've kept the rustic look of the original Marshall's," said Tabor. "We want people to feel comfortable and be able come as they are.
