play in 2012 OlympicsLeBron James has made another decision: He wants to be an Olympian again.The Heat forward said he would "love to be a part" of the 2012 U.S. men's basketball team at the London Olympics and help defend the gold medal the Americans won in the Beijing Games. And if U.S. coach Mike Krzyzewski wants him back, James says he's just a phone call away.The U.S. clinched a spot in the 2012 field by winning the world championship this summer with a team led by Thunder star Kevin Durant. Five-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant of the Lakers said earlier this week he'd also like to play on the 2012 squad.James' teammates Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh also would likely be considered for the team.Utah still wantsinvestigation of BCSUtah's attorney general met with Justice Department officials this week to discuss a possible federal investigation into college football's Bowl Championship Series.Attorney General Mark Shurtleff is investigating the BCS for possible antitrust violations and is hoping to get the Justice Department to do so as well.Shurtleff said department officials did not commit to conducting an investigation. He said among those at the meeting was Gene Kimmelman, chief counsel for competition policy and intergovernmental relations in the department's antitrust division.The Justice Department declined to comment on the meeting.Rangers resign mangerManager Ron Washington signed a new two-year contract with the AL champion Texas Rangers, a move that had been expected since before the playoffs began.The deal through the 2012 season was completed three days after the Rangers lost to San Francisco in their first World Series.Washington didn't have a contract past 2010, but team president Nolan Ryan and general manager Jon Daniels had made it clear during the season they wanted him back.Washington has a 331-317 record over four seasons in his first managerial job, and the Rangers improved their win total each of the past three seasons.
