Six people who previously entered gullty pleas to criminal charges were sentenced by Schuylkill County judges.

Ryan Anthony Arroyo, 20, Shenandoah/Allentown, pleaded guilty to delivery of a controlled substance in Shenandoah and possession of drug paraphernalia and was sentenced by President Judge Willliam E. Baldwin to serve six to 12 months in the county prison, pay a fine of $200, pay $100 to Substance Abuse Education (SAE) fund, $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account (CJEA), make restitution of $267 to the Bethlehem Regional Lab and $100 to the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force.Eric Todd Berezwick, 34, Mahanoy City, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance in his home and was sentenced by Judge D. Michael Stine to serve 24 days to 12 months in the county prison, however, since he had already served the minimum sentence was immediately released on parole for 12 months, pay a fine of $250, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA, and make restitution of $113 to Bethlehem Regional Lab. On a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was fined $125 and given a concurrent 12 months probation sentence.Christopher Haldleman, 33, Mahanoy City, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol and drugs was sentenced by Judge Baldwin to serve 30 days in the county prison followed by four years and 11 months on probation in the Intermediate Punishment Program (IPP), pay a fine of $1,500, pay $200 to SAE fund, $100 to Catastrophe fund, $60 to Schuylkill Medical Center, submit to drug and alcohol assessment and random drug urinalysis screening. HIs driver's license is suspended 18 months and for 12 months after it is restored must install an ignition interlock on the steering wheel of his vehicle. On charges of failing to carry car insurance fined $300 and driving without a license fined $200 plus $100 in costs. He was cited by Patrolman Timothy Wirtz, Mahanoy City police, in April 2009.Danny Malave, 21, Shenandoah, pleaded guilty to simple assault on a patron in a tavern in Shenandoah and was sentenced by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin to serve time served, which was 156 days in the county prison, to 23 months. Since he served the minimnum was released on parole and ordered to pay $50 to CJEA. On a charge of criminal conspiracy he received a sentence of two years of additional probation and for recklessly endangering another person a concurrent sentence to the assault charge. lHe was cited by Patrolman Robert Senape.Lucas Almonti, 28, Allentown, pleaded guilty to charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in Pottsville and was sentenced by Judge Stine to serve 12 to 24 months in state correctional institution with credit for serving 49 days in the county prison.Benjamin C. .Fidler,26, Arlington, Va., pleaded guilty to DUI in Pine Grove and was sentenced to serve five days to six months int he county prison.Each defendant must pay court costs and a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation or parole.
