Jason D. Kunkle of West Chester, graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Chester University on May 8, earning dual bachelor's degrees in Economics and Finance, with a minor in Accounting.

While at West Chester, Kunkle received the faculty award for "Outstanding Student in the Department of Finance" during his junior year and "Outstanding Student in the Department of Economics" during his senior year. He was also a member of the Friar's Honor Society, a WCU service organization. In February, Kunkle was invited to present his senior thesis, "An Empirical Analysis of the Motion Picture industry," at the Eastern Economics Association Conference in Philadelphia.He has accepted a position with The Vanguard Group, a worldwide investment management company located in Valley Forge.Kunkle is the son of Jeff and Jane Kunkle of Slatington and a graduate of Northern Lehigh High School.
