The Third Parryville School Reunion will be held on Saturday, Oct. 9, at Franklin Township Fire Company. Doors open at 4 p.m. with dinner served at 6 p.m.

Deadline for reservations has been extended to Sept. 18. Letters with information and the cost were previously sent to classmates. Those wishing to reserve their place should send a check made payable to Parryville School Reunion and mailed to Irene Hopstock, 1375 Cherry Hill Rd., Palmerton, PA 18071. Organizers hope for a good turnout, as they remember one of Carbon County's "small town" schools.
