July 19, 1975 Four local football players compete for the West squad in the annual LARC All-Star Classic at Bethlehem School District Stadium. Slatington's Steve Hluschak, Al Barney and Joe Babyak, as well as Northwestern's Rich Fritzinger participate in the annual event. Hluschak plays on both offense and defense for the West while Barney makes eight tackles including five solo stops. The East wins 12-0 on a pair of touchdowns catches by Bethlehem Catholic's John Spagnola.
