Students of Perry Music Studio hold annual recital

Thirteen students of the Perry Music Studio held a recital on Sunday afternoon, June 13, at historic St. Mark's Episcopal Church.

Students who performed and the pieces they played were: Kendra Johnson, "Whispering Hope;" Teegan Kunkel, "Run Mouse" and "Animal Band;" Sydney Vincent, "Kumbayah" and "Sailing;" Felician Konopka, "Fur Elise" (main theme) and "The Fly and the Bumblebee;" and Michalina Konopka, "Little Prelude" and "Night Song;"Also performing were Lynea Reiner, "Lavender's Blue" and "Get a Clue;" Bailey Vincent, "Sonata Theme," "Dancing the Minuet" and "Double Delight;" Amanda Treible, "As the Deer" (arranged by Amanda) and "Solitude;" Kailey Boger, "Alone;" and Olivia Frendt, "Minuet in G Major" and "Spanish Caballera."Performers also included Joshua Johnson, "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing;" Matthew Treible, "Canon in D Major;" and Anna Domingo, "Nocturne in C Sharp minor."Maestro Randall Perry closed the recital by playing his arrangement of "Aubrey" written by David Gates.Unable to attend the recital due to date conflicts were Maxwell and Ethan Vermillion and Jordan Behrens.The students performed to an audience of approximately 60 people.Maestro Perry expressed his gratitude to the parents, families and friends for their support of private music instruction, and also thanked the vestry of St. Mark's for the use of the church.Light refreshments were served after the recital by Carleen Ladden and Eleanor Perry.
