The Tamaqua Area School Board hired several coaches Tuesday night.

Joe Berezwick was rehired as head girls basketball coach, and Jim McCabe was retained as head varsity wrestling coach.The following boys basketball coaches were hired: Mike Yordy, assistant varsity coach; Mike Murphy, freshman coach; Cazzie Kosciolek, eighth grade coach; and Barry Wargula, seventh grade coach.Hired as girls assistant coaches were Joseph "Bud" Wagner, JV coach and seventh grade junior high coach; Tom Scheitrum, assistant varsity coach; and Berezwick, eighth grade junior high coach.Frank Wenzel was hired as junior varsity football coach, and Claudio Ruba, Andreas, was approved as a volunteer boys soccer coach.
