A Monroe County man was jailed on Monday, Feb. 1, charged with violating a protection from abuse (PFA) order.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said officers were dipatched to 159 Fairview Ave., in Mt. Pocono, about 9:29 p.m. for a domestic incident. On scene officers were told by Sarah White, of that address, that she was involved in a physical altercation with Tony Chillemi, of Mt. Pocono. He left on foot prior to arrival of police. White also said she had a active PFA order against Chillemi.Chillemi was later found walking along SR940 and was taken into custody for violating the order. He was placed in the county prison in Snydersville, police said.
