Four persons were injured Tuesday afternoon when involved in a crash along Blue Mountain Drive in Lehigh Township, Northampton County. The crash occurred just before 4 p.m. as the driver was operating the car south about a mile south of the Blue Mountain Ski Lodge. The driver apparently failed to negotiate a curve in the road with the unit entering the right berm and plummeting down a deep storm drain. The four were transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital Trauma Center in Allentown. Responding were the Aquashicola and Lehigh Township Fire Companies. Lehigh Township police are investigating the mishap.
