State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating two separate theft incidents.

One occurred on a lot at Don's Auto, located along the Port Carbon/St. Clair Highway, in East Norwegian Township. Troopers said the rear right window on the car of Harriet Pellegrino, 67, of Frackville, was smashed to gain entry. Removed from the car was a Sony flip-front loading CD player. A right rear wing window on the vehicle of Amanda Mikitka, 23, of McAdoo, was broken but nothing removed. Both vehicles were parked at the lot for repairs.The incident occurred sometime between 7:10 and 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 22.The second theft was reported by Jennifer Dayson, 34 N. Fourth St., Cressona.She reported someone removed about $50 from her vehicle while parked near her home.The theft occurred overnight of Jan. 25-26.
