Mr. and Mrs. John Tucker, Lansford, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Aug. 31. They were married in St. Jerome's Catholic Church, Tamaqua, by the Rev. Francis Baransky.

Mrs. Tucker is the former Lisa Doris, daughter of the late Bill and Sarah Doris of Tamaqua. She is employed at Mahanoy Area Elementary School.Mr. Tucker is the son of Edward and Mary Tucker of Lansford. He is employed by Windstream Communications, Lansford, as a network technician.The Tuckers have four children: Alexander, a math teacher at Mahanoy Area Middle School; Aaron, a junior at Kutztown University; Andrew, a freshman at Misericordia University; and Sarah-Mary, a sophomore at Panther Valley High School.A family dinner was held at the home of Ed and Ellen Beckowski of Lehighton, co-hosted by Bob and Christa "Doris" Killian and Joe and Sarah Bubble.The couple was also treated to a second honeymoon in Ocean City, Md., compliments of their in-laws, Bob and Christa Killian.
