Playworld Systems did not supply the rubber mulch for the Weissport Playground. The mulch for the Weissport Playground was supplied by National Sales and Supply - Majestic Rubber, 3800 Marshall Lane, Quad A, Bensalem, PA 19020.

Weissport Council closed the Weissport Playground in June when volunteers found wire embedded in the mulch. Since then, Weissport Council has been in touch with suppliers of the mulch to have the mulch replaced.At the meeting held Tuesday, Sue Pywar, council member had noted that she had contacted a supplier. She said at the meeting that the person she spoke to did not seem to know about the problem in Weissport. The company she spoke to about the mulch was not Playworld Systems. The company she was speaking about at the meeting was National Sales and Supply - Majestic Rubber of Bensalem.Att. Mike Ozalas is hoping to establish a chain of events to determine how the mulch problem can be amicably rectified.
