A snow-covered Route 924 in East Union Township, Schuylkill County, was blamed for a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 10:42 a.m. Friday.

State police at Frackville said Judith A. Kratz, 54, of Luzerne, Luzerne County, was driving a 2004 Honda Pilot southbound and negotiating a left curve when her vehicle went onto the west berm and struck an embankment and several small trees.Kratz was not injured. She was cited for the crash, troopers said.
