The Carbon County Constitutionalists are holding their inaugural sheriff brigade meeting at the Jim Thorpe Memorial Hall on Saturday Nov. 20, at 11 a.m.

The group, although not connected to the sheriff's office, will be discussing the importance of the role of the county sheriff and how the citizenry can work together with a willing sheriff to help repair the damage done to our country caused by public officials who violate their oaths of office.The group will be announcing their first candidate for sheriff and are also seeking out potential candidates who would like the brigade's endorsement and support. Knowledge of the constitution and the executive nature of the office are required.
