Published March 04. 2010 05:00PM

Carbon County Shepherd House is hosting the Herald Biblical Theatrical Company's presentation of "His Last Days' on Friday, March 12, at 8 p.m. The location for the presentation is at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 175 South Third St., Lehighton.

"His Last Days" is written by Dallas Holms and directed by JoAnn Havrilko and depicts the last week of Jesus' life in a touching and dramatic score that takes you from Palm Sunday to His resurrection at Easter.

The Herald Biblical Theatrical Company is a non-profit theatrical group founded in 1985 for the main purpose of bringing the written word of God to all people. The group is an inter-denominational cast of approximately sixty people of all ages that come together in love and commitment to the Lord, to praise and worship Him in visually stunning biblical stories filled with music, song and dance.

This liturgically seasonal production is being hosted by the Carbon County Shepherd House Board of Directors. Shepherd House is the local food pantry system that provides services at nine locations throughout Carbon County including Beaver Meadows, Jim Thorpe, Lansford, Lehighton, Nesquehoning, Palmerton, Summit Hill, Tresckow and Weatherly. These local food pantries, manned and maintained by community volunteers help low-income households in need who meet certain qualifications with a three-day emergency supply of food every month. A free-will offering will be accepted to benefit Shepherd House and will be used to support community needs.

The Carbon County Shepherd House Board of Directors invites the public to attend this presentation. If you need any information regarding Shepherd House or the presentation, please contact Rev. Stanley Haupt at (610) 377-6048.
