Four enter guilty pleas
Three men and one woman who entered guilty pleas to criminal charges were sentenced in Schuylkill County Court last week.
Milton James Dunn, 36, of 26 Catawissa St., Tuscarora, Schuylkill Township, on a charge of careless driving was fined $25 plus $50 costs and pay $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account (CJEA) by Judge D. Michael Stine. A charge of driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol was nol prossed. Dunn was cited by Patrolman Thomas Duarte, Tamaqua police, last Dec. 14 at the Five Points Intersection.
Walter Kenneth Parfaite, 21, Pottsville, pleaded guilty to simple assault on Darlene Serafin, Pottsville, last Dec. 13, and was given credit by Stine for serving two days in the county prison and was released on probation for 12 months, pay a fine of $250 and pay $50 to CJEA. Parfaite was cited by Patrolman Joseph Murton, Pottsville police.
Andrew D. Kreindbrook, 33, Shoemakersville, pleaded guilty to possessing drug paraphernalia when stopped by Sgt. Robert W. Phillips in Schuylkill Haven last Oct. 2, was sentenced by President Judge William E. Baldwin to serve on probation for six months, pay $100 to Substance Abuse Education (SAE) fund, $50 to CJEA and make restitution of $226 to Bethlehem Regional Lab. On a charge of possessing a small amount of marijuana he received a probation sentence of 30 days to run concurrent with the first sentence.
Rachel Ann Fidler, 27, Frackville, pleaded guilty to retail theft of clothing from Boscov's Store, Fairlane Village Mall, Pottsville and was placed on probation by Baldwin for 18 months and pay $50 to the CJEA.
All defendants must pay court costs and a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation or parole.
