Nalesnik, Hunter lead Lehighton

Lehighton picked up a win in Lehigh Valley Legion action Tuesday night.


West End-Lehighton

Jacen Nalesnik tossed a five-hitter, allowing just one earned run, to help Lehighton gain a 13-3 victory over West End.

Nalesnik walked two and struck out two as the winners improved to 10-5.

Kyle Hunter led Lehighton offensively, collecting two hits and five RBIs.

P/T Orioles-FT Chiefs

The Palmerton/Towamensing Orioles rolled to a 14-4 victory over the Franklin Township Chiefs.

Nick Frey had three hits, three runs scored and two RBIs to lead the Orioles. Adam Smiley added three hits and a pair of RBIs while winning pitcher Stephanie Augustine had two hits and scored twice.

Ke Koa Mook, Austin Cook and Matt Myers each added a hit and an RBI.

FT Patriots-Lansford Krajcirik's

A.J. Wenrich earned the pitching win as the Franklin Township Patriots edged Lansford Krajcirik's, 5-3.

James Farano, Anthony Farano, Jacen McEvoy and Vince Mele all had two hits for the Patriots.

For Lansford, F. Neitz had three hits while R. Stanek added two.

FT Patriots-JT Royals

Vince Mele collected three hits to help the Franklin Township Patriots gain a 10-2 win over the Jim Thorpe Royals.

James Farano gained the mound win and also had a hit at the plate.

FT Patriots-P/T Orioles

Anthony Rossino had three hits and scored three runs to lead the Franklin Township Patriots to a 16-4 win over the Palmerton/Towamensing Orioles.

A.J. Wenrich had two hits and scored four runs while James Farano added two hits and three runs. The winners also received two hits from Anthony Farano and Vince Mele.

For the Orioles, Ke Koa Mook had three hits. Nick Frey and N. Fiorius each had two.
