Nesquehoning credit card scam

Published January 27. 2010 05:00PM

Nesquehoning Mayor Tony Walck would like to make Nesquehoning residents aware of a credit card scam circulating in the borough.

Numerous residents have received phone calls asking for information. Walck warned residents not to give any information.

Also there have been phone calls from a female voice that says she is from the Nesquehoning police department and she is calling about water problems.

There are no female police officers in the borough and the phone calls are fictitious.
