The Mauch Chunk Township School Board banned smoking by the pupils and ordered its officials to fully enforce the ruling against the wearing of dungarees to classes which was passed last month. Meeting in the Nesquehoning High School, the board heard reports on the increase of the number of children seen smoking enroute to and from classes as well as in the rest rooms during athletic events and at the high school entrances. On the dungarees question, any boy who wears dungarees to school will be dismissed.
