A New York man has been arrested on drug charges that stemmed from an incident at 3:22 p.m. Wednesday in Tobyhanna Township.

Pocono Mountain Regional police responded to a disturbance at 5426 Clearview Drive, Emerald Lakes Development. While on scene, police observed a bag of marijuana lying on the kitchen table.A consent to search was obtained for the home, where additional marijuana and drug paraphernalia was seized. Craig Fields, 33, of NY, the homeowner's son, was arrested for the items.Additionally, Fields was charged with furnishing alcohol to minors when a 20-year-old female was found intoxicated inside the home.Fields was charged and placed in the Monroe County Correctional Facility pending preliminary arraignment.Fields faces charges of possession of small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and furnishing alcohol to minors.His preliminary hearing will be before Magisterial District Judge Claypool in Pocono Pines.
