Palmerton Area School Board unanimously approved the following extracurricular moves on Tuesday:

- Accepted the resignation, with regret, of Paul McArdle, head football coach, effective Dec. 10, 2010.- Accepted the resignation of Terry Balliet, assistant girls' basketball coach, effective Dec. 3, 2010.The board also approved the following extracurricular and cocurricular positions per the negotiated contract for the 2010-11 school year:Brandon James Hibbler, boys basketball, volunteer.Tara Schieder, girls soccer, volunteer.
