Jim Thorpe Area High School varsity cheerleaders recently attended the NCA camp at Millersville University. The squad earned the Top Team award, a bid to the national championships, and the Spirit Stick award. Two members, Maxine Gaffney and Aindrea Williams were named All Americans. Arielle Harleman won the Captain's Leadership Award. Members include, front row from left, Crystal Sparrow, Gaffney and Harleman. The varsity and junior varsity squads are coached by Julie Romanisko, Sara Mass and Laurie Mele.

Jim Thorpe Area High School junior varsity cheerleaders recently attended UCA camp at Gettysburg College. The squad was the camp champs in cheer and Extreme Routine, and was also named Most Improved Squad, and earned a Spirit Stick. Three girls were named All Americans.
